📢 New PTPlace Feature Announcement: Competitor Part Number Interchange Now Live!

We’re excited to share a major enhancement to PTPlace that has been in development over the past several months. Thanks to valuable insights from our 2025 eCommerce customer survey, we identified a strong need for a more robust competitor interchange capability—and today, we’re thrilled to announce that this new feature is officially live.

What’s New?

Users can now enter a competitor’s part number directly into the PTPlace search bar and instantly receive the SKF equivalent part number. For example, entering a number like 1220 m c3 will display both the competitor’s part and the corresponding SKF part.

How It Works:

• Enter any supported competitor part number into the search bar.

• PTPlace displays both the SKF equivalent and the competitor’s original part number.

• When a part is selected, users will see both part numbers, including any available and relevant disclaimers regarding possible differences.

We’ve already loaded a significant number of competitor parts into the system and will continue to expand coverage over time. While we can’t interchange every part number on the market, this database will grow steadily as we integrate additional competitors and information.

This enhancement reflects our commitment to improving the PTPlace experience and delivering tools that better support our customers' needs.
